在這小丘陵平台上，
輕輕植入兩片屋頂與些許空間，
填補山丘輪廓凹陷的那一角。
一樓地板稍稍抬高，輕觸大地。
讓建築融入，
成為山丘地景。

一連串的懸浮踏步、
是一個會有陽光灑下、
是一個走向天際、
是一個舉重若輕的垂直轉換過程。

The ground floor is risen a little bit and
landed lightly.
The house is created to be part of the landscape
of the hills.

From a serial of wander and steps, it is a
vertical transition process,
of sunshine from the air
of journal to the sky
of feeling free and easy under heavy burden

Twin Roof House

本案規劃係在有限的坡地上，以土黃色洗石子建築嵌入、填補原有地形。在一個開放、感知的原則下，所有空間皆為大開窗，並鄰接大陽台。

一樓客廳外設置窗台邊椅，讓家人、鄰居可以在此暢談。客廳內小天窗投射下的光影，讓人清楚感受到時間的變化。

餐廳外的陽台，除了是外玄關，也是一個可以把餐桌延伸出來的半戶外空間。

二樓白色量體挑高的書房，同時是整個家屋精神上與量體造型上的核心。

貫穿住宅的樓梯，連接一樓公共空間與二樓私密空間。懸吊的樓梯踏步，輔以天窗灑落的光線，讓這過渡體驗，又再多了一種期待、探索、帶點謹慎的心情。

透空的懸吊樓梯，實質區隔了一樓客廳與餐廳，但又保有視線的穿透連結。作為丘陵地形最高點，二樓留設了大片的斜面露台，透過站立在斜面，遠眺前方山景，強化身處自然的感知，充滿使用想像的可能性，亦是「無用之用」的場所。

Chairs by the windows are set in the ground floor outside the living room for family’s and neighborhood activities. The skylight in the living room tells the time.

The balcony outside the kitchen is both outer entrance and an extension of inner dinner space.

The second floor study room with high ceiling is a white object and represent the spirit of the house and the design concept.

Following the hanging staircase, it connects the ground floor’s public space and second floor’s private space. The sunshine from the skylight of the staircase brings an experience of expectation and exploration with a little cautious.

The transparent staircase is also an object between living and dining room. Finally, at the highest of the hills, the second floor spacious terrace with gently slope is a perfect place for scenery and multi-purpose activities. Walking through the gentle slope roof and viewing the mountain scenery in the distance, the awareness of natural perception is clearly. The roof is not only a roof, but also a place full of possibility for multi-function. It is both useless and useful.
